Page County school children ‘eat local’ this summer!

Page County Public Schools and Page County Grown served locally-grown and raised foods May 31 for both breakfast and lunch! Skyline Premium Meats and Public House Produce provided beef and vegetables for this exciting event!

PCG & Chamber to present at Shenandoah Valley Event

Page County Grown will introduce producers in the northern Shenandoah Valley to the unique relationship between our local Chamber of Commerce and our Local Farming Organization February 6 at the George Washington Hotel in Winchester. David Sours, Jared Burner and Pam Flasch will offer a brief history of PCG, where we are and where we’re headed!

Page County Grown is Chamber’s ‘Ag/Eco Business of the Year’

Each year, the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce celebrates an Agriculture or Eco-Friendly business with this award. Page County Grown was proud to accept this award at the Chamber’s 85th Annual Banquet November 3. President David Sours accepted the award on behalf of the members, and thanked the Chamber for the honor.

Welcome to PCG Updates

Page County Grown and the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce were proud to host: Cultivating Comparative Advantages for Agriculture and Farm-based Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century March 28 at the chamber. Twenty local producers turned out to learn from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, agriculture experts George Hurst and Scott Sheely. Many thanks to Eric Benfeldt with the Northern District Office of the Virginia Cooperative Extension Service for coordinating this event.
